If I had any issues with taking a life, for the right reasons, I would have never joined the military or signed up for the police acadamy. I do know that I would prefer to not take any lives if at all possible, but ultimatly I would do whatever required of me to survive.

This is a hard one to answer, and probably its best not to go around spouting about how you could kill someone as it could come back to haunt you.

I think I would only take a life in revenge for a violent attack on my loved ones . . . a wierd philosophy as I do not believe in capital punishment?!?

I would however, lay down some serious damage on any lowlife that threatened my family. Permanent, life-long damage.

Very hard for law enforcement and the armed forces who are faced with this every day.

Dear Hapkido person.

What Police Acadamy did you join? Is that a bit like an Academy? I know that spelling isn't always essential but, "ultimately" it will help you communicate.

But reading a post is often a good idea before you disagree with it. Kenny Rodgers or not, the law expects you to walk away if you can. "Doing what you need to survive" is a given, but if you have put yourself in that position because you were too pig-headed to walk away, you will get acquainted with a jail cell.

Didn't they teach you that at the acadamy?

As for gramar, this is the last place I worry about it. I'm not going to change everything that is misspelled before I post it. THere really is no need. Sometimes its a simple matter of not being a good typest on the computer and or being in a hurry.Tay. As for my primary response I am only saying what most everyone else is saying. I will do what I have to to survive. So don't nit pick. Its irritating.

Actually spelling and grammar are pretty important if a poster wants to develop any credibility. Logical reasoning skills and consistency are also very important.

Now, if someone wants to spout off or is too lazy to post coherently, then by all means do so. Clowns come and clowns go. I'm sure that's a country lyric somewhere as well.

Keep in mind that minor stuff will be overlooked most of the time if the poster is making sense.

Take for instance Don Guiseppe. Man can't spell or type for crap, but he articulates himself as clear as a bell and does a good job entertaining the forum. So I guess there are exceptions to every rule.

Now, as far as I'm concerned all Limey Bastages can burn in Hades for all I care!!!!

first of all i wouldn't care if the police found out i killed someone. if i killed someone then i would know the reason for killing him was a justly one. second i don't need anyone telling me what is right or wrong because i know for myself. and in the terms of killing someone for revenge i would never do. but if my life is in danger or someone elses was then i would. and then if i was going to be incarserated for it then i would not care.

Well if you get into a fight with someone you know like a friend, or acquaintance then there no need to kill him. If you choke him put him to sleep, if you armbar him humiliate him instead of hurting him until he cries uncle.

But in the STREET if its a surprise attack with strangers, especially young teenage punks who are known to murder these days, I'd say if the submission is on BREAK the arm or limb, if the choke is on keep it on until they pass out no matter what they say. There's a good chance if you don't buddies friends aren't going to be threatened by you and will jump you next or even during the first attack. Also in the street assume your opponent or his friends has a weapon.

Street fighting has no trophies -- the only prize is to walk away alive. Worry about the authorities later... first comes your life.

Hi,

I do whatever is neccesary in order to defend my self and others. But it depends on the situation you are. From nature everyone is able to kill and you don't need to have any Martial Art studied.

Killing is wrong even in those situations you wish to kill the person.

Honestly I really don't know what I will do in live threating situations. I think nobody can say whether he or she will kill somebody. you never now...
