its got problems coming because so many accept the two party lie ,becoming either fervent Gore or Bush supporters. The Committe for Presidential Debates wont even let Ralph Nader in to watch, even though he qualifes for federal matching funds in his campaign.By the rules theyuse,Abraham Lincoln wouldnt have been allowed to debate Douglass. Both major parties are full of poop.If ya dont believe me,look at the most recent Bush revelations. The Republicans are using the same defensive tactics that the demos used to defend Clinton(it happened a long time ago,one shouldnt be held accountable for youthfull actions),and of course, this was an attack by demos just like were made against Wild Bill Clinton four years ago.
The sad part is that most people cant remember four years ago and see the hypocrisy of both parties.

Maybe I'm wrong bro but I thought Bush talking about making president office respectable again.

All this lyin and dodgin and not answering question, how is that respectable? Saying he's in the air guard but he wasn't, thats' pretty low.

We get rid finally of Clinton and get an even bigger liar, whose lyin then and lyin now and everywhere in between?! I wish McCain stayed in race at least he was honest.

Default morons

i'm sorry but anyone who votes for the republicrats is a moron.

the lesser of two evils is still evil.

don't you see how your choices keep getting worse and worse?

You accept having corporations decide who you will vote for?

The "committee" on presidential debates is a corporate entity created by the republicrats. it is NOT any kind of official govt. entity.

wake the f@ck up!

vote for democracy. vote for Nader.

Whoo hoo hoo haa haa ha!

Bush is a liar. Yeah right.

Let's see who the REAL liar is...

THE LIE: While running for office, Gore's campaign literature claimed he was a "Brilliant Student".
FACT: Washington newspapers said he barely passed Harvard and consistently earned D's and C's.

THE LIE: Al Gore said his father, a senator, was a champion of civil rights during the 1960's.
FACT: Gore's father voted against the landmark Civil Rights Act of 1964 and was a racist who was fond of using the "N----" word.

THE LIE: Gore claims an extensive knowledge of law as a result of his extensive study at law school.
FACT: Al Gore dropped out of law school.

THE LIE: Gore claimed that as a reporter for a Nashville newspaper, his stories led to the arrests of numerous corrupt criminals.
FACT: He later apologized for his claim and actually said it was untrue (Also known as lying).

THE LIE: Al Gore says parents should not have a choice between private and public schools because public schools are far better.
TRUTH: Al Gore attended private school and he has sent his children to private schools.

THE LIE: AL Gore promised Florida's senior citizens that they would finally have low-cost drugs with no interference from government.
FACT: Gore's plan calls for the creation of a huge federal agency that would tell you which doctor you are allowed to see in order to get the "special rates".

THE LIE: Al Gore recently claimed that his mother-in-law pays more than $100.00 for the arthritis medicine Lodine; while his dog takes the same medicine for $37.00.
FACT: Gore's aides were quick to apologize for Gore's lie, saying the information was from a Democratic study. Washington newspapers also reported that Al Gore wasn't even sure his mother-in-law was taking any medication at all and wasn't even sure she had arthritis. And, he isn't even quite sure anything about his dog's "arthritis".

THE LIE: Al Gore said that his sister was the very first person to join the Peace Corps.
FACT: By the time Gore's sister joined the Peace Corps, there were already over 100 members.

THE LIE: The same sister died of lung cancer years later and Gore vowed to never accept tobacco money as campaign contributions.
FACT: Just four years later, while campaigning for office, Gore spoke to the tobacco industry and said he was one of them because "I've planted it, raised it, cut it, and dried it." He raised over $100,000 in "reported" Big Tobacco contributions.

THE LIE: Gore claimed that his knowledge of God and spirituality came to complete fruition while "finishing" divinity school.
FACT: Al Gore dropped out of divinity school.

THE LIE: Al Gore claimed responsibility for inventing the Internet in the 1990's.
FACT: Shocked scientists were quick to speak out, explaining that the Internet had been in widespread use by government and educational institutions since the early 1970's.

THE LIE: Al Gore claimed the book "Love Story" was based on his life and Tipper's.
FACT: Author Erich Segal called a press conference to deny his claim. (Couldn't he at least lie about a love story where his sweetheart doesn't die?"

THE LIE: Gore claims to increase diversity in the staff that follows him daily, especially among blacks.
FACT: Black members of the Secret Service are suing because they claim they are not being promoted to positions guarding the Vice-President.

THE LIE: Al Gore said he was the first to discover the Love Canal nuclear accident.
FACT: The incident was already discovered, being investigated, and covered widely in the press for many months before Gore was even aware of it.

THE LIE: Gore said just recently that if elected president, he would put harsh sanctions on the sleazy producers of Hollywood's extreme sex and violence.
FACT: Just six days later, Gore attended a fundraiser by Hollywood producers and radical gay activists where he told them that he would only pretend to "nudge them" if elected. He raised over $4 million in campaign contributions.

THE LIE: Al Gore remembers his mother lulling him to sleep as a baby by singing the popular ditty, "Wear The Union Label".
FACT: The popular ditty was created by the unions when Gore was 27 years old.

THE LIE: Al Gore claimed to co-sponsor the McCain-Feingold Campaign Reform Act.
FACT: The Act was not sponsored until he had been out of office for over a year.

THE LIE: Al Gore claims to be instrumental in keeping gas prices low.
FACT: Gore has voted on numerous occasions to raise the tax on gasoline. In his book "Earth In The Balance" Gore claims that the nation's Number One enemy is the internal combustion engine. (That's the motor in your vehicle that gets you to work and takes your kids to school.)

THE LIE: Gore pretends to champion the rights of poor women to be tested regularly for breast cancer with the most modern technology.
FACT: While giving a speech on the subject in September, Gore didn't know what a mammogram was.

THE LIE: Al Gore told NBC's Lisa Meyers that he had never told a lie. When Meyers pressed harder, "You've never told a lie?!" Gore said, "Not that I know of." (DOES THAT SOUND FAMILIAR?)

DO WE REALLY NEED ANOTHER PATHOLOGICAL LIAR FOR PRESIDENT?

Question

Did Gore actually say he'd "pretend to nudge them?" Where did you get that info?

Let's face it, there are no good president's anymore. They all lie. They are all in it for the power trip and the money.

Bush WAS in the air national guard, BUT he joined it to avoid serving in Vietnam. Personally, I think that the best choice is Gore :-( Thats only because he has better ideas about the enviroment, plus bush aint reaaaal bright.

Thumbs up Bush Gets My Vote !!

To PassiveGuy:
October 15, 1999; Los Angeles Times
CLAIM: “I carried an M-16. . . . I pulled my turn on the perimeter at night and walked through the elephant grass, and I was fired upon.” In 1988, Gore told the Washington Post: “I was shot at. . . . I spent most of my time in the field.”
TRUTH: Gore never faced direct enemy fire, although he may have arrived on the scene after the fighting was completed.

To nhb_wanabe:
March 1, 2000; San Jose Mercury News
CLAIM: Gore says, “It’s not fair to say, ‘Okay, after his sister died, he continued in the same relationship with the tobacco industry.’ I did not. I did not. I began to confront them forcefully. I don’t see the inconsistency there.”
TRUTH: The same month Gore’s sister died in 1984, he received a $1,000 speaking fee from U.S. Tobacco. The next year, he voted against cigarette and tobacco tax increases three times and favored a bill allowing major cigarette makers to purchase discounted tobacco. In the 1988 campaign, Gore bragged of his tobacco background: “I want you to know that with my own hands, all of my life, I put [tobacco] in the plant beds and transferred it. I’ve hoed it, I’ve dug in it, I’ve sprayed it, I’ve chopped it, I’ve shredded it, spiked it, put it in the barn, and stripped it and sold it” (Newsday, 2-26-88).

Bush admitted to the DUI in 1974 and hasn't drank since 86.
To compare...
Bill Clinton, "I didn't inhale."
Bill Clinton, "I didn't have sexual relations..."
Al Gore, "I didn't know it was a fundraiser."
Al Gore, "I carried an M-16..." (he was a photographer in Vietnam)

Bush confronted his demon and won - I want someone that is not afraid to tell the truth.

WAKE UP AND SMELL THE ROSES!!

AAAHHH!

Bush admitted the DUI because he was exposed and had no choice,Clinton freely admitted pot use,now the repubs are defending Bush the same way the demos defended Clinton bak then, and the demos are attaclking like the repubs did.
Will the repubs cry dirty pool if 3 years from now demos still refer to him as a drunk driver?Even thought he repub still talk about Clinton as a pot smoker?
Since you like to paint Gore with Clintons brush, lets do the same to Bush. How about "no new taxes "from Bush senior?
Ok heres one,who referred to Reagans economic plan as "voodoo economics",yet supported it to become his running mate?Yep ,Bush senior.
Im not even going to get started on Texas's record, nor on their death penalty problems(like the death penalty or not,Im sure all would agree that a defendent should get a fair trail before execution, the state of Texas doesnt seem to agree though).
Oh yea,it wasnt a lie that Bush didnt voluntarily reveal the DUI because he didnt want his dughters to find out,was it?
And Bushes record in the National Gaurd, well,I guess a favorite son can be AWOL for two years right?
No I dont support Gore, both these guys are products of rich familes(oil),ivy league schools, easy access to high level government and corporate jobs,at least Gore did go overseas during Vietnam, albeit as a reporter.
Oh yea,why was it that Bush wont deny drug use when he was young, yet takes great pride in bragging on the harshness of Texas' drug penalties? All hes got to do is say that no,I never used drugs, but he wnt,why is that?
If you refuse to see the lies and inconsistencies on both sides then you are a tool,an idiot, and part of the problem.
