Do u enjoy UFC OR PRIDE?

The methods of fighting.. so entertaining..

I like it more then UFC.. it's just diffrent..

i'm trying to collect every pride on DVD...

Favorite pride: Cold Fury n Chaos..

but there is too many to take a favorite.. they pretty nice..

I like both .. I tend to swing more towards UFC though. As from the few I have watched UFC fights are generally shorter and I prefer the shorter fights. But as I said I havnt only really watched about 5 of each of the DVD's.

I wanna get hold of some kinda Pride greatest hits thing .. as I have seen the UFC one and that ROCKED.

I prefer the highlight type stuff anyway as there is too much grappling these days and its DAMN BORING to watch.

Hell no...

Grappling matches are classics. If u dont know the ground then i can see how it's borning. some make it good..

Carlos Newton vs Kasushi Sakuraba.. Classic grappling..

and that's just one of many...

I notice why they put their hands or defend certain parts cause they are protecting from a possible lock.. ground fighting has much respect from me and i enjoy watching more my own benifit.
That is the American Opinion. "ground fighting is boring!" .... "stand up and brawl!" ..

Grappling is an art and when it's mixed up with strikes it's a classic!

Arrhh .. yeh I suppose its because I dont know whats happening most of the time .. but I've watched enough to know some moves they are trying to go for and the counters that others make.

I do enjoy some grappling fights (ones that dont go for 20 mins with both fighters doing pretty much sweet FA). Fights where they grapple for a bit then someone gets out of it .. then they have a little fight then back to grapling. I really ennoy those!.

But I still enjoy the fights with skillful attacks etc in .. not the bralls.

Oh yeh Im not American either ( not that I think you were calling me one). Im from New Zealand.

Well if you have watched them all then I believe you, but from the few pride I watched it wasnt as exciting as the UFC I have seen.. and I wasnt really talking about grappling in either .. I was talking about grappling in general

You can buy copied Pride events on ebay. People copy them off of payperview and sell them there. I like watching Pride over UFC. Pride has a lot of good and entertaining fighters. I like Kazushi Sakuraba's fighting style. All of his matches are exciting. Another Japanese Martial arts event that I like is K-1. Too much grappling is sometimes boring to watch, I like to see hardcore knockouts, like the ones from K-1.
