I have meet a few of their BJJ/Judo guys recently and they seemed to me to be cool. I do know that the Judo instructor has sick skills.
Best advice is go in and watch a class. Then go back and take a trial class if they offer it. Derek |

I know Tony just threw a tournament. I also Know he is a judge for Abu Dhabi. He has been around a while. My brother went and trained at his school & said their were some tough guys in the class. I would suggest going by and taking a class.

I am sure they don't wash themselves either. They must be mean & nasty if they will roll with Steve.

HobbyAirport, don't sign any contracts. Any good instructor should offer the first class free. Roll with some more experienced guys. If you don't have any grappling experience, they should easily tap you.
I knew my instructor was legit because he laid some serious submssions on me my first night! ![]()

I have been doing trqditional karate for a while, but after getting into an altercation. i desire to get something a bit more practical. I also absolutely love the martial arts, if i could do it all over again i would be a professional but i am too old.
I like bjj, but i am in my mid thirties and am looking for a school that will give me stand up practice and a strong ground base. But i dont need a lot of injuries, so maybe i need a school that can teach a new guy... |
