Default Vidio games.

Any vidio games make you happy in their protrayal of fighting arts? Any you think are accurate?

I think tekken is the closest thing thier is to actual martial art style.

Like i said before.....I need a life.

I don't know those video games very well. But I think many (read almost all) "fight" games like Tekken or Killer Instinct have some moves which are based on at least one of the many fighting arts out there. Maybe it's Tekken, yes, I don't know. B.S.

Of coarse it isnt. But it DOES increase awareness of martial arts. I never even knew what Thai boxing was until i played street fighter.

all the same, it presents an unrealistic, stupid version of martial arts. i know of a guy who thinks capioera is a great, ass-kicking art because eddie was a good character in tekken. case in point

Yeah I am a big tekken fan and understand that the characters do do real MA but obviously the moves are turned up a bit to sdd damage and stuff.
I just bought Kengo Master of Bushido and PS2 and man it rocks. You chose between 3 samurai that train and fight in a dojo starting with wooden swords and you defeat schools, defeat disciples, and defeat grandmasters to get the schools sword. There are about 8 schools. You do 6 different types of trainning, you learn moves and make different forms. You then enter the imperial match, with is doen with steel swords, and there is blood and everything. Certain blows to the neck will cause more bleeding than others etc.
