Default Erik Paulson..

Is this guy any good.. I dont really follow His work.
The last time i saw him was in either a UFC or a COMBAT Video I have, He was getting dragged around by his hair buy some boxer bloke.. Who i think won the fight.. I take it he must of improved Since then.
I have lots of respect for Pat Smith.

Yes, he is very good. The fight you saw him in was many years ago. Apparently, he learned his lesson about the long hair. My instructor has been to many of his seminars, and has done a few private training sessions with him as well. He says that Paulson can tap him out almost instantly. Seeing as how my instructor can tap me out instantly (there's no almost about it), I would definetly not want to mess with this guy.

Erik had to have his hair long for some movie work he was doing.

Anyone could learn from Erik. He is a walking encyclopedia. If you have the opportunity to train with him, you should definitely not pass it up.

Even though his skills are highly developed he continuously trains with top martial artists so his skill keeps improving. "he's made history by defeating Japan's reigning light-heavyweight shootwrestling champion, Kenji Kawaguchi. Paulson became the first American to take the title and the belt out of Japan."
