Fist Brass Knuckles

Although they're illegal in the UK, I hear it is possible for them to be sold for martial arts purposes. Does anyone know of where (in the UK) they can be purchased?
Thank you.

The UK is remarkably hostile to self-defense and all manner of weapons. I would strongly recommend against obtaining these. The sad fact is that for a resident of the UK, martial arts and self-defense might as well be illegal.

I know, but I don't see the sense in making it totally illegal to buy something which would not kill, but only temporarily disable an attacker, (knuckle dusters), when any twelve year old can walk into a shop and buy large hunting knives which would easily kill an attacker, even if used in self defence.
I know which one I'd rather have and if possible I'd certainly like to get some.

Of course there's no sense in it, Greg. That's why the laws are bad laws. Sadly, there doesn't seem to be much that subjects of the UK can do about it.

Ooohhhhp. Do I hear a rant coming on???

The good folks in the Government are simply trying to protect us Sharp Phil. When are you gonna get it through your thick mullet that guns, knives, brass knuckles, escrima sticks etc. are only supposed to be used in the hands of officially recognized law enforcement and military agencies.

It's the 21st century man! The Government will save us from all evildoers.

Indeed not, ah well, you can't expect politicians to see sense.
Anyway, my best option thus far is to have them imported from the US but obviously I think customs may have something to say about that. Perhaps getting them sent via UPS would help or maybe customs only search certain packages. (I'm just guessing, I'm not too familiar with airport code of practice.)
I'd much rather find a UK place that sells them legally or otherwise.

It might be a greater wisdom to get a nice steel walking cane and learn how to use it. They even let canes on aeroplanes....

Haha, true, but I'd much rather have the knuckle duster, a cane won't fit in your pocket. I think it's going to prove rather taxing to find one too. Are they legal in other parts of Europe?

A quicker and more efficient manner to get yourself into prison would be to go slap Bri Thai around a little. Brass Knuckles indeed.

I've bought two pairs of brass knuckles in the past. One was sold as a paper weight and the other a belt buckle. The paper weight obviously wasn't a paper weight and the belt buckle had a tiny spike that you could put in the hole of your belt.

A good alternate is to get a roll of pennies or dimes. Wrap it up with tape and you got yourself a lot more punching power.

Carrying around weapons is asking for trouble in my opinion.

Brass knuckles do kill.

Correction. Brass knckles CAN kill. And the weapon itself does not kill, only the person wielding it.
