Royce & Charles Gracie BJJ self defense book

I know this isn't ebay, but is anyone interested in buying this book? I thought there would be atleast a few good grappling moves in it but, just like the name says, it's self defense.

Cover price on this book is $29.95 but I think I could sell it for $20 if the buyer pays shipping. It's in like new condition since it's hardly been touched.

Buyer pays shipping??? That's gotta be close to 5 bucks. That put's it up to almost as much as buying it at the local bookstore!

I can buy it brand new for $21 on Amazon. If I bought another $4 book (say anything from Ashida Kim) I get free shipping.

I'll give you $22.50 IF that includes shipping.

Do they even HAVE shipping in Mulvane???

Spanky, if you really are interested we can discuss the price. 22.50 with shipping included sounds fine to me.

Actually I've heard that it is crap. Full of unworkable "self defence" moves from the ark.

I haven't seen it, though, so don't know for sure.

I don't know the actors name but he was in Young Frankenstien and a couple other old movies.

Bri Thai, I dunno if the moves are crap or not. Some of the moves are the same stuff you'd learn in a BJJ class like headlock escapes and bear hug escapes. There are some techniques against knives and guns but I'd never use them. Not because I don't think they'd work but because I have better since than to try to fight someone with a weapon.

Poopy, I'll send you an email.

I have read the book from cover to cover. I know what I'm in for when I buy it. I am in class all this week (A+ Certification) so I will follow up when I can with an email.

I am chomping at the bit to do a review of this work.

A+ certification? Let me know how it goes. I've thought about getting A+ certified but I don't even know what I'd do if I did get it. I've taken pretests before and I can almost pass the test. I'd be able to pass it if I had more network experience.

The good thing about A+ is that it doesn't get retired when the Microsoft Monkees want to generate more income... I'll keep you posted on the class, test, and results.

LoL Szpnk. I remember your last review, of Aranha's BJJ technique book.

Like a mormon girl on prom night, you teased the whole forum and didn't deliver.
