Andrei Sosnovskikh escape video tape

Has anyone seen Andrei Sosnovskikh's video on escapes from bottom? Is the tape worth buying?

I've seen one, and it was hilarious. Guy was using energy
to "flip" or "throw" his opponents without ever touching them.
Not sure if it was him or one of his students though, but it
was far-fetched. His club is a half-hour drive from my house,
but after seeing that video, I've lost all interest in going to
check it out.

Dude, that's Vladimir Vasiliev tape you are describing (Sistema - "Russian Aikido), Andrei Sosnovskikh's tape is totaly different!
It's a solid Sambo tape on escapes from the bottom possitions.
It is a very good tape, but I prefer Eric Paulson's tapes on escapes and also Michael Jen's Ultimate escapes set.

Ya, sounds like your mixing up the tapes... though Systema is not "russian Aikido"......i checked out sosnovskikh's website, didn't see anything that was using "energy" work.

its kind of intresting how you discard a tape to being trash, when you dont even know wich tape it is.....and in fact if the tape that you ARE talking about is a systema tape, then you really have no idea what Systema is if you thinks its hilarious.....(ya i guess those Russian names are hard to distinguish from one another )

You mean to tell me that with all the statistics, anecdotal evidence, sound bytes, official reports and various factoids I still have to go out and find evidence to support my claims?


That sounds like too much work. I think I'll continue to form my opinion from listening to Tom Brokaw. He seems pretty honest and objective.
