Thumbs up Ever notice how everyone on this forum has never lost a fight??

We must have some badasses in here because it seems like everyone is an expert at BJJ or JKD and in undefeated in all their multiple attackers armed with knives fights.

Kind of like in the first UFCs when everyone was a 10th degree dan in Gung Sool Won Gung Fu - the ancient art of limb dismemberment with a no rules record of 300 and 0 with 300 wins coming by way of KO or death.

Dont get me wrong, I love the forum and all the great info, feedback and entertainment. Great job guys. Thats just something that struck me as humerous.

Ever notice how the newbies have so many opinions to express and how everyone else doesn't give a damn?

I haven't noticed that. but anyway, how would you like to share your stories of victories and defeats?

Nothing major, but if you get in enough fights you are bound to lose eventally. The times its happened to me was when there was a brawl break out in a bar and while you are going at it with one guy, bam, sucker punch from behind.

I know I should have felt his chi from behind me but it was off that night. Nothing major, just some scratches, busted lip, torn shirt etc...

Then I made it to the finals in the Columbia SC Submission wrestling comp like 5 years ago and had my ass handed to me by a guy names "Flash." It didnt take too long to figure out why they called him that.

If you have never lost a fight in your life, then chances are you havent been in many.

The first fight I lost was to a guy much smaller than myself. This was over ten years ago, in high school. As Sun Tzu would say, on that day my adversary had "the force." It was a learning experience, to say the least.

What did I learn? Never fight unless your heart is in it. As a matter of fact, never do anything unless your heart is in it.

I haven't lost a fight, but I have escaped from one. Does that count as a victory or a lost fight? I escaped because had I stayed, I wouldn't have survived, I would definitely have lost that one..

Hahaha... That's true. Everyone seems to be a top notch fighter... But as we all know, very few of us are. I for one, am not... I’ve gotten beat-up, but not beaten up. Futhermore, I don’t recall ever being in a fight where there was a clear victor. The last fight in which I got hurt bad was in high school a few years ago. My friends and I were cruising Main Street and we got followed by some other guys who claimed to be “gang” members. Well, to make a long story short, there was a rumble and I got punched really hard in the ear causing a chemical imbalance, then I got kneed in the face. We were clearly outnumbered and lucky to get away that night... I didn’t land very many shots after the ear shot... It was very dark that night.

If someone sucker punches you, then I wouldn't really consider that "losing a fight".

no the problem is the ones that lost are dead so they tend not to post as much anymore.
