WTA is that the group started by Master Jack Pierce? If it is then I know a little about it but if not I'm afraid I'm not familiar.

The basic systems of TKD I am Familiar with are.

ITF
WTF
ATA
STF
WTTU
Universal
MARS
USTU

And a few others that I know I am forgetting or that have died out over the years.

I have been in the Martial Arts for 23 years. One thing I have found is that most people who studie the MA are only ok to sufficient. Most people will never be a master in capability. Even those that have potential are not the best at everything and even fewer are good at kicking. People want to excell at it all and when they do not they put down what they have not mastered or excelled at. All of a sudden a particular system is no good. It doesnt work. And sometimes a school teaches for competition and tells their students that it is self-defense. Tae Kwon Do is a good system when taught properly.

A closed mind learns little.
