I'm back! So what's up anyone wanna peep the fights i've seen... and a few thoughts..

ok, i saw a great fight in the holding cells of county jail. i was in for 2 days then court then i got out no biggy.. warrent shit..

a blood and a south siders went toe to toe.. no moving no tackling no side stepping nothing.. it was sick.. the blood fool got more hits but the the southsider hit harder.. crazy.. hard to explain..if it was pride i'd give it a draw.. that sick..

too many people there anyways and long ass benches. you can't really move around..

so my point is this..

how much do you really know about fighting?

these cells we fit for 70 people. piss infested l.a. county holding cells before you hit the main or twin towers..

no matter what martial arts you take you can't really be prepared for every type of curve ball you are sent. i mean put it this way. i never want to fight in a cell that small. every step north south east or west was a for sure stubble on a bench or a person. that is scary. what does your class teach you? ... this shit you can't learn in a dojo.. you have to go through it.. in jail the riots.. too many fools.. one punches one is hitting you with a battery pack (sock with a bar of soap in it) or penciling your neck.. what are you prepared for if worst came to worst?? not jail but just crazy shit in general..

1.) can you really take a punch?

2.) does your martial arts class teach grappling but mix it with street? like attacking the balls? attacking eyes? but still keep it interesting?

come on now... you dont know what a thug really is until you actually fight one. lets face it. not to down anyone living in the burbs but most likely.. this...

URBAN KIDS MOST LIKELY AND WHY?

BLACKS HISPANIC AND WHITEBOYS THAT GROW UP IN HOODS .. SLAP BOX ALL THE TIME, FIGHT, DO CRIME SHIT.. THAT'S NATURAL.. SO TAKE THAT IN MIND BEFORE YOU START A FIGHT. if you pass through watts, lynwood, pacoima, you will see stupid shit like that.. fighting, people walking around all crazy... just weird shit.. just my thoughts.. why people do what they do or fight or why? the violence.. why people act the way they do.. poverty or is it the way of life... who cares..

just saying cause the school i go to.. some rich kid goes and he acts real cocky .. he aint even hood ... just acts crazy.. be ashamed if he stepped to the wrong cat and got smoked.. lots of you are like that.. so just saying you can be a good fighter but if you dont have the heart and the mentality then you can get ate!

Anyway, I study Combatives, and most of it revolves around nasty techniques. If you can get yourself Carl Cestari Tape 3, about Groundfighting. His evil techniques make so much of the more complex submissions fairly redundant.

Hmm sounds like that fight coiuld have been ended if someone knew how to throw some elbows or knees or maybe some stand up grappling or grappling in general plus if you are training in contact martial art you shold be abel to take a punch or I dunno wth you are learning.

If its the lader you should try reading. Anyway he din't seem to be bragging to me.

That aside some of the easyest fights I've ever been in have been against people who thought they could handle themselves. For the most part it comes down to your instincts. You can pick up some pretty helpful tricks from training with the right peaple, but for the most part you ether have or you don't.
