They are good but like much of WMA's products they are extremely overrated. They have good production quality but all they teach is basic wrestling technique.
In my opinion they are very expensive for what they teach you. I found an excellent wrestling instructional set at amazon.com which teaches the same stuff but its done by a High school wrestling coach. His fee must not be as high as Jacksons because the tapes are $15 each. The tape set is called "The Winning Edge" and is very very good value for money. Of course if you are impressed by big names then pay the extra money and watch Jackson demonstate the same techniques. I use "The Winning Edge" tapes in my Ninchido classes so my students become familiar with the way a wrestler works. |
