Default What's up w/ these fighters?

Has anyone heard what's up w/ both Mikhail Avetesyan and Maxim Tarasov? I haven't heard anything about them in at least 2-3 yrs or so.

Mikhail Avetesyan has won three 8-man tounaments (he may have won a 4th - I'm not sure). He fought Igor Vovchanchin in the finals of one of the Russian Absolutes a few yrs back and the fight went the distance. Mikhail definately won the fight but suprisingly the decision was given to Igor. Mikhail was just vicious in his fights. He beat Hugo Duarte very quickly w/ a wicked eye gouge (if think it was a thumb) and as HUgo was rolling around on the ground complaining and trying to get his sight back Mikhail walked back to him and kicked him and motioned for Hugo to fight. I'm suprised no one in Hugo's corner jumped in to get involved. I haven't heard anything about Mikhail in awhile, but I bet he's still fighting in some overseas events. Any info on him?

Maxim Tarasov was bean-pole skinny at about 6'6" tall but only 175 lbs or so, but he could definately fight. I saw some of his fights and he defiantely went for the finish all the time. In one of the Early Russian Absolutes he lost only in the later rounds to the monster Ricardo Morais. I thought Maxim was equally skilled standing and on the ground, but I haven't heard/seen any info on him in 2-3 yrs or so either.

These two are just some of the very impressive fighters out of Russia and surrounding areas. I haven't been up on their torunament scene in a few yrs but I do plan to start ordering some of the later shows. I'm just surious on anyones thoughts on both Mikhail and Maxim.
