To whoever it was that said Marijuana is not addictive you are wrong. Regardless of what you read in some text book undoubtedly written by someone that never smoked, it is extremely addictive. Just ask anyone thats smoked for a few years.
I wish my friend Triangle would see this thread. He has damning evidence on the ill effects of the evil weed. Then you would know im not Trolling. Just concerned about your well being.

"How ridiculous. Next they will be trying to tell us that natural medicines are good for you.
Medical tests have proved beyond a doubt that Marijuana is extremely addictive and bad for your health."

Vitor29,im not saying that dope kills more people than cigs, neither habit is good for your health. Although the main reason it appears that cigs kill more people is thus. Cigarette smoking and the effects of it have been documented for over 100 years. It is legal to smoke cigs so people admit to smoking it without fear of legal persecution. The same cannot be said for Marijuana. Many people that smoke dope will never admit it. Because it is illegal it cannot be marketed the way cigarettes have been. The amount of cigarette smokers far outweighs the amount of dope smokers. If dope was legal im convinced you would hear a lot more about the health risks attached to it. Marijuana has really only been popular in the U.S for around 30-35 years. The long term effects are yet to be fully understood. In some countries where smoking dope has been popular for a longer period they do not have the resources to properely examine its effects. So its still an unknown quanity to the medical world at large.

I knew a Buddhist monk that worked with drug addicts in a rehab facility in Thailand. As well as Marijuana addicts he dealt with opium addicts, heroin, LSD etc. I asked him which drug was the worst to get hooked on. He told me "Marjuana and Hashish are the worst. They destroy the nervous system".
Im sure you will say im trolling because people in denial use anything to justify their addictions.
What I say is true.

Unhappy

I do not think you are trolling just very uninformed. The bottom line is: Let adults choose for themselves.
