I've heard that story about Gene choking out Seagal but I figured it was crap. Not that I'm a big Steven Seagal fan or anything. Gene probly could choke out that sorry dude.

Well, Segal is an actor first. Aikido isn't known for its ground work and Judo Gene Labell has wrestled/practiced judo since the 50's (I think?). The man has been grappling before most of us have been alive.
How did this choke out take place? Was it a challenge or just grappling?

On the set Segal is supose to have claimed that he could break out of any hold so Lebell was allowed to put the chokehold on, he didn't need to attack
Lebell was already a National Heavy weight Judo champion in '45 and in '55 |

The responses I've read on this thread really show how little you guys know about martial arts. It's obvious Seagal was doing the possum animal form and he successfully escaped Lebell!
