OK I ripped this off from someone here. Props to you whoever you are I don't remember.
How does a Martial Artist change a light bulb? The jkd people never actually get to changing the bulb becuase they split up into 2 camps. One camp says that only the decendants of Thomas Edison and those he trained can change lightbulbs. The other camp says anyone can change lightbulbs, but first you must study lightbulb changing techniques from many different cultures. After many years of study you will develop your own style of lightbulb changing. The way of no way. The Karate people develop a sequence of movements that replicate the light bulb training technique. They practice it over and over without actually changing the bulb. the sequence gets more and more complicated the more you train. The Tai Chi people say who needs to change it? We will just harness our chi energy and direct it into the lifeless bulb and it will work fine. What? it didn't work? Maybie we need to do more chi exercises. The BJJ guys say why bother, 90% of all lightbulbs end up on the ground anyway! The Kali guys say that it is far too dangerous to actually change light bulbs. Instead they make up sequences of moves that simulate light bulb changing and give them cool names. |

How many Kenpoists does it take to change a light bulb?
100: 1 to change the bulb and 99 to say "That's not the way Ed Parker showed me to do it." |

How many martial artists does it take to change a light bulb?
100. 1 to actually change it and 99 to stand around and boast that their way would have been better.

Some very clever and witty replies,
keep em' coming. The funny thing is, with respect to the word "change" the light bulb. Surely many instructors would scream "change??????" "we cant have none of this change business!!!" This light bulb has been with us for 100's of years, (what an advert for low energy long life bulbs) "This light bulb is steeped in tradition, to change it, is to throw away and disrespect the grandmaster, no me must leave it exactly how it is, and rekindle its glow with our ki-energy". |

actualy Choke UK describes the changing from a lightbulb to fluoresant light or maybe changing from a 10 W to a 100W bulb
even though it is obvious that 100W is better they do not want to give up the old 10 W bulb because it gives the traininghall such a destinctive color After much discussion they would maybe replace a 10 W with a 11W but it has to stay a bulb never a neontube Traditional MAs don't change the bulb, instead they "stay in the dark"

Some funny stuff here - this is my small contribution.
The TKD Way! TKD splits in two groups over this question. One group campaigns (successfully) for a changing lightbulbs to become part of the Olympics - but you are only allowed to change bulbs with your feet. Whoever changes the most in three rounds wins. The other group moves to a different country to freely pursue the true and only way of changing lightbulbs - by copying the karate way of doing it ... |

How many boxers does it take to change a light bulb?
One. Although it won't be put in correctly because of the years worth of accumulated brain damage he recieved from such a unintelligent career choice.

Hello ryan. I'm not sure I understand your question, but first off I'd like to reitterate the fact that these are jokes we are posting, are they not? Now with that being said, I hope you are not really trying to imply that repeatedly bashing a man's head in while he does the same to you is a wise way to support your family, ...are you? Something to think about...
