thank you sir...i always enjoy a discussion in which you are involved.

I tend to judge people based on their actions...i will note their beliefs if they state them, and use that info to further asses your actions. like anyone else after so many interactions with people with said beliefs you begin to expect certain behaviors from certain types of people. Sure sometimes someone comes along and makes you reasess your views, but thats part of an open mind right?
for instance Toms thoughtful and intelligent replies have made me feel a little better about christians as a whole...I finally found a nice one...even if it is on the net

Boarspear, its hard as heck at times to live up to the Bible, at other times it comes natural. I don't know if I'm worthy of God's grace, but try to live up to it. Sometimes I'm a goofball....ok, maybe more than sometimes.

LOL These are probably the same "far-right" (whatever the hell that means) Christians that have a bunch of machine guns in their basements. And by the way, many sources including a Japanese guy who is supposed to be a martial arts historical expert, claim that MA started in Greece around 647 BC with Pankration. Pankration seems more or less like MMA than any type of traditional MA.

hey man, nobodys perfect, but as long as u try to be a decent person, thats all that matters. tom i dont know u personally, but u seem like a good guy and i now feel kinda bad about thinking less of you because of your faith. i agree with boarspear, toms replies have made me think a bit different about christians and religon as well. we have had arguments over this before. im sorry if i came off as a close minded dick before. i went to catholic school my whole life and saw alot of hypocrisy and had a lot of anger towards christians and catholics because of it, yet i failed to take notice of all the people who really did try to be good people. the people who spent there free time making sandwiches for homeless people, or spent their friday nights at the local mental hospital making friends and spending time with people who most of society has turned their backs on. i let my anger and dissapointment blind me. its real easy to generalize entire of groups of people based on the actions of a few, which is wrong.

Default lol

tell matt huges that ma is wrong or evil, oh wait he's usually busy praying to god before he or one of his fighters goes out to fight, same with franklin, deago sanchez and a whole boat load of mma, kickboxers, boxers, grapplers and about a zillion other ma people who are christians or jews. Not everone who does ma becomes a budist ,confucionist, taoist or whatever else the "spiritual side of ma" will generally fall by the wayside once the leather starts flying so lets just call ma, combat sports instead then everyone will be happy except the mcdojo head band wearing "I'm a modern warrior following in the ancient ways of the samauri old time kung fu guys, and the karateka and the hwrang"LOL those people usually don't last long in fighting any so so don't blink.
