Royce and Rorion finally making some sense!

In their latest interview for the year end Black Belt issue Royce and Rorion finally give a decent interview. Royce is asked what he thinks Sakuraba's weaknesses are and after a long pause he laughs and says "If I knew I would have capitalized on them!" Rorion says many times that Sakuraba fought smarter and at the end when he is asked who of all the mma fighters out there impresses him the most, he answers "definitely Sakuraba". This is the classiest I have ever seen these two guys be in an interview.

Perhaps Renzo's loss and classy behavior will allow everyone to admit that Sak was just the better fighter this year. No shame in getting beat by the best.

Hell, it's in their best interest to hype Sak. HE BEAT THEM.

If the guy beats you, it is a no-brainer that you ought to go out there and claim that he is the best fighter in the history of the world, and maybe even before that.

Shit, he HAD to be the best fighter bar none, b/c Royce is second best, and could not be beaten other than by Sak, who is the best, etc...

I will never understand the fools who lose and then go out and badmouth the victor. Well, what the hell does that make you?

Rickson says Sak has "No aura, or he's nothing special...????" That is not saying much for the rest of HIS family I suppose.

Darren, my thoughts exactly. I don't think just because Rorion & Royce gave Sakuraba his props that they're showing class all of a sudden. They'd be very foolish if they behaved any differently in that interview.

Rorion is a smart and business savvy man. He knows and understands the fight game well..... holy $hit! I forgot about the Wallid fiasco. I take that back. I guess he's not as informed about the fight game as I thought he was. I mean, what he heck was he thinkin' when he entered Royce into a no weight limit tournament w/ the most high profile fighters in the game?????

Shamrock should get fighter of the year-Why not?= They left him out so many times when he Should have gotten it..Its overdue..He was a pioneer in MMA..Not only that-his team was the first american team to throw down with the Brazilians and hang. He can teach too.
