Dreams...

Ever get alot of fighting dreams?
The ever get, scary? funny? crazy?

Heres a strange theme that always seems to reoccur in my dreams...
I always fight these demonic "evil" human beings(pretty damn scary sometimes!)...and I always end up beating them with some kind of submission...rear naked choke, arm bar OR some kinda extremely violent move like thumbing their eyes out..etc...strange ...I hardly even watch horror movies..

Another one is that I get in a street fight with some really annoying guy and my punches are like they're being thrown underwater...needless to say he laughs at me in my dream...ugh....

I love these kinds of topics.

Well first...I have had a reaccuring dream for about 3 years that I get shot! The situation is different everytime, but the end result is that I am shot and die Yuck. Hope I'm not seeing my end! I've had it every so often. But I think things I see on TV just remind my subconsious of it, and it starts going. I've had it at least 7-10 different times in the span of about 3 years.

I used to have dreams of fighting guys from when I was 12 years old. When I first learned karate, I used to have dreams of evil people coming to take me away or something. When I was 12 I had another dream where I was being sucked backwards, and behind me was a man in a black suit and hat walking towards me. I let myself be sucked to him, but spun around and kicked him in the face. I woke up, and that sparked a series of different dreams that mirrored my MA training. I had dreams where my karate did nothing to these men, and then in real life I moved to JKD. Had a dream where I beat someone with that, but then had one where I was trying to "straight blast" a guy and my arms would just get tangled up in his defense. I started grappling when I was around 16, and had a dream where I fought the same guy I tried to straight blast! I lifted him up and slammed him down on the ground, and pummeled him from there. Since then I have never had another one of those dreams. Strange.

The most peculiar dream I'll post about a little later because it will take too long, and it's somewhat weird.
It was a dream about living as a knight who died, and there was no symbolism or fragments or anything. Just one long sequence. I've talked to some people, and some say it's a past life experience Whether or not I believe in that, I don't know. But the dream gave me a weird feeling.

In that Bruce Lee bio movie "Dragon" they showed Bruce Lee having that same Demon dream. Maybe you are the reincarnation of Bruce or maybe you both ate Pizza before going to bed. Who knows.

The punching but you cant hit anything or you have no power is a very common dream. I believe it means you harbor an unnatural lust for animals.

I have dreams where I'm fighting all the time. I think it might just be because I usually think about fighting while I'm laying in bed trying to fall asleep. Or maybe the dreams point at some internal conflict. I usually end up grappling with my enemies, who are no one in particular, could be anybody I saw that day, because my punches also feel like they're being thrown underwater. According to Shimora that means I have an unnatural lust for animals. Where's my dog?
