I often see that people who back up the Gracie's
are called "Gracie-worshippers" ...

Now...lotsa guys (I MEAN LOTS) are taking a big liking to Sak and defending HIS every move..Why doesn't anyone call them Sak-Worshippers?

Is it just "un-cool" to like the Gracies anymore?

I bet half the people who do like Sak now were once big Gracie fans and are just joining the Sak fanclub cos hes the "IN" fighter right now...

Dont get me wrong..Sak is a great fighter..one of the best right now...

I just think some people are sooo happy that there is someone new to follow that they think he's greater than he actually is...

I dunno...maybe I'm just playa-hating on him ..

A lot of people are dumping on the Gracies because of the un-sportsmanlike comments they have made regarding Sakuraba. Also, the notion that the Gracies "let us down" by losing.

The only people who should be disappointed in the Gracies not being invincible, are the people who believed it. I never did, so I don't dump on them. I respect them for putting it on the line and getting beat. Especially Renzo, who made no excuses, and Royler, who gave up 50 pounds and fought his heart out. The Gracies are still among the best fighters in the world, IMO.

But right now, Sak is better. Plus, he is a very humble, likeable guy.

I'm still a big Gracie fan.I really want to see that Sak and Royce fight,I haven't had a chance to see it yet.Is the fight out on video or dvd?I will always stay true to my crew(The gracies)even if they get beat.

Whoever above no I like Gracies too. I'm just being realistic. I like guys who are innovators, you know find a new approach throw out what don't work like Bruce Lee.

Gracies, IMO, now stuck in their own "classical mess" thinking, if they think that one style gonna win it all. Sak keep putting the beatdown on them, but they don't adapt and then say sheet about him. Well none of them wearing that belt after facing him.

Then you got jokers talking up "well Rickson would kick Sak's ass" and you got to laugh because they gonna make the oldest guy now come out and fight him? Man Helio better book flight to Sao Paulo 'cause if Rickson lose they gonna put his creaky ass in the ring!

But I like Gracies anyway. You want to smoke Sak only guy I can see doing that, in same weight class whatever, is Frank.

Ryan, though? Come on man next thing they gonna send the f**ing Gracie dog in with a gi on!

The Gracie's still rule, Royce can still beat a good percentage of fighters out there, and Renzo is a top 5 middleweight. Also anyone who trains in BJJ should at least like one or two of the Gracies. Royler is still one of the best in sport JJ in his class...
