Well than, according to the members on this forum...it's official. The elephant is the "world's most dangerous animal". I'm still not sure but think about it, would any other animal beat an elephant? Well, maybe a polar bear (no not that fat piece of shit panzy ass Varleans!). I don;t know, you really can't compare the water animals to land, because I'm sure a great white won't be too deadly out of water and I'm sure a gorilla aint gonna be too deadly in the deep blue ocean.

Anyone else remember that far side with the polar bears standing over the smashed igloo? The caption below read "Crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside".

Seriously though, a polar bear would suck to fight. But I wasn't taking into account the odds of being attacked in the wild, I was thinking of the animal I'd least like to fight in a 1-on-1 gladiatorial type deal.

Isn't a Kodiak a Polar Bear?

A Kodiak Bear is definitely a sub-type of Grizzly Bear, usually referred to as a Brown Bear. I'm not sure, except I believe Polar Bears are a sub-species of Grizzly Bears also.
Kodiaks are the largest of the Brown Bears. They are typically larger than Polar Bears by a small margin, except the largest individual bear on record was a 2,000 pound Polar Bear. The weight is not official, since it is based on calculations performed using anatomical measurements taken from the Taxidermied remains. The official record is held by a 1,700 pound Kodiak Bear, although it is agreed that the Polar Bear that was estimated to have weighed 2,000 pounds was almost certainly larger.
As far the Polar Bear being the best fighter in the animal kingdom, I believe that the account of the accidental Bengal Tiger vs. Polar fight I read about describes the Polar Bear has having a difficult time killing the Bengal Tiger is worth considering. I don't believe either of those animals would have stood much of a chance against a Rhinoceros, Hippopotamus, or Elephant. All three of those animals have been known to kill Lions, who are only slightly lower than Tigers on that scale, with about as much difficulty as a cat killing a mouse.
