MMA and bodybuilding are my thing, well actually bodybuilding and Jeet Kune Do. I would recommend a standard bodybulding type workout (8-12 reps with 30-90 seconds rest between sets), cycled with power lifting phases (4-8 reps with 3-5 minutes between sets). The bodybuilding is for, well, bodybuilding and the power lifting is for strength and explosiveness. Make sure you are taking your protein supplements, creatine and glutamine. You may have to up your calories even more if you are doing alot of cardiovascular conditioning.

Chuck Norris's total gym seems more like something you should use if you don't have access to a gym. It is no substitute for free weights.

Free weights are best, protein is also essential if you wish to put on muscle mass.

MA and weightlifting are also my thing. I hit one body part a day in conjunction with cardio and the MA classes. I really think you need to decide what your goals are before you concern yourself with the workout program. The reason I say that is at the begining of this year I took a long look at where I wanted to be and I had to change my entire workout strategy.
