![]() | I mean damn...we all know so much more about NHB than those "fighters" in the first tourney...Do you think you'd do well? Granted I didn't face Royce in the first round...If I trained hard..I think I could get into the finals vs Royce ..then lose or maybe just stall in his guard the whole time(like Shamrock)...hehehe...

![]() | duch... I meant he wouldn't KO me... Although he might gouge out my eye like he did to Yuki Nakai...I better not try any leg subs on him then!

![]() | Ryu, a fighter lost partial sight from a fight in UFC 1? I remember seeing that card, and I don't remember anyone getting eye-gouged. 1994 wasn't that long ago, could I have forgotten it? I do remember the elbows to the head and the back of the neck - and a couple guys got punched in the family jewels - I just don't remember anyone almost losing their sight. ![]() | Rockinronnie, No, no, it was in a Japanese Vale tudo event. The ones Rickson fights in. Yuki beat Gordeau, then beat a huge american pro-wrestler that outweighed him by like 100 pounds, (fought him blind), THEN went on to face Rickson, gave him a bit of a surprise for a few moments, then was caught in a choke... he did this whole thing blind...I've never seen such kokoro, but it didn't do him a lot of good if he can't see anymore ![]()

![]() | I have not seen this tournament in years. But from what I can remember it seemed like Ken Shamrock fought as if he was the only fighter who had a secret weapon. What I mean is, Ken fought as if he was the only person who knew how to fight in the ground. And essentially he and Royce were the only wants who had extensive submission skills. But when Ken faced Royce he seemed to offensive minded as if he was the only guy who can finish with a submission. Anyway I remember Ken going so hard for a leg that he left his back open to Royce. But like i said I havent seen this tournament in years so I can be wrong. |
