"which art has the hardest kicks?"
the answer depends on what you mean by that question.
if your just talking about power then muay thai is the answer.
but if your talking about effectiveness then your answer is gung fu, or better yet combine the two arts principles on kicks.
because there is no denying the power of muay thai but there is also no denying the accuracy and penetration of gung fu.
so the answer to that question relies on your ability to integrate different principles from different arts. this however requires a lot of imagination and absolutely no ego whatsoever.

I think many Muay Thai fighters will deny the "penetration" of Kung Fu kicks. They often do it in abstract form, without using words. By kicking the penetrating Kung Fu practitioner half to death.

San Shou integrates the side kick, which has a lot of thrust. It also alternates between a heel based MT style push kick or ball of the foot penetrating thrust kick.

Post hardest kicks

Siamese boxers have the hardest kicks period, dosen't matter what kick. In fact, kung fu masters and philosophers tell people to dodge instead of block a siamese boxer's kicks because when people block their kicks they shatter their usually shatter their forearms!

Seems most people here answer the question whos kicks are hardest not which kicks

so we take the best thai boxer and the best TKD fighter and teach them eachothers styles kicks so they would excell in both the same, then we do tests to measure the energy generatedd by the kicks, now which is hardest you think

The fact that the TKD fighter will lose from the thai fighter doesn't perse say something about the power of the thai kicks, more the weakness of the TKD fighter

In the style of taekwondo that I train in (AIMAA TaeKwonDo) we incorporate kickboxer's kicks into our curriculum/fighting techs. This is because, obviously kickboxers would focus more on stronger kicks for a knock out. Just as boxers would have a better punch. That is why we also box like boxers. But, we still do taekwondo, we still do forward stance low block up and down the floor 1,000,000 times to perfect our traditional stances and techniques.

I think the hardest kick (between two equally matched people) would be simply, who ever trains more for kicking. IE, power is not just brute force, its a lot of technique and explosiveness. There is a big difference between strength and power. There is a guy in my tkd school that is a LOT heavier then me (muscle not fat) but my kick is a lot more powerful then his...

Who has the hardest kicks?

"Cassowaries are large flightless birds of the rain forests of northern Australia and New Guinea... They defend themselves with powerful kicks, and are known to have killed humans with their dagger-like claws"

Apparantly they can rip people's arms off with their kicks.

I'll vote for "another art has the hardest kicks" then.

The information is correct.

But actualy I think a T-rex foot stomp is probably even more powerful.

The thread clearly states "who has the hardest kicks" not "which human has the hardest kicks".

If you look at the arms of T-rex, it must be dinosaur TKD what he practices

Yes but he also includes some pretty effective biting techniques.

Actualy there was another meat eating dinosaur that was even bigger than T-rex and had normal sized arms (for it's size), it also hunted in groups. It lived on an island, and fed on the largest dinosaur ever. The largest land meat eater and the largest land plant eater living on the same island! The predator got bigger in response to the prey.
