Al you have to do is get a dumbell. Put some weight to what ever you can lift with this exercise. And no weight on the other end. Put you forearm on your Quads and hold the dumbell tight horizontally. Then twist it up vertically and return to the starting position with the dumbell horizontally. Do this at high reps with light weight to get the movement going. Then low reps with more weight when get good. |

What do you think the whole point of what I said about the bicep excercises was? If you go ahead and do the twist with the biceps excercises then you kill 2 birds with one stone and for someone that is in the gym as much as me you want to take something like the forearm out with the biceps so you don't have to waste time doing it later.
Mostly I do this with my standing curls that way I get the free motion for my biceps and then I also get the twist for my wrist. I notice that you said to place the arm across the quad muscle, and this is something that I don't suggest to anyone with light weight or heavy weight. When you are doing that you are causing pressure to build in the bone of your forearm which can cause forearm splints. Anyone that is in a grappling art of a very physical art that envolves alot of grabbing and submission is not going to want that extra strain on the forearm. |

If you twist with a bicep curl you would have to use a dumbell so it will by a hammer curl. Hammer curls work a different part of the bicep.
There is no need to kill two birds with one stone. I train all day when I am not at school. 4-6 hours after school. And depends when I am making movies. So take it from me and take your time. Use the time. Use forearm twists instead of Hammer curls. You could do some hammer curls before bed if you can. Final point: Hammer curls use a different technique to forearm twist. Hammer curls hardily do anything to your forearms your wasting your time doing them to get strong forearms. |

Man, you are good at talking some giberish........lol
What I am talking about is getting on a curl bar and throwing a twist into the motion coming up. This is doing the same thing that you were talking about the only difference is that I said something about it first and my way is better because of the lack of pressure on the forearm that will cause a splint. Anyone that is wanting to bulk up or get bigger would never work out for 4-6hrs. a day because that will get you nowhere no matter how much protein and supps. you take. You also take for granted that not all of us are 15yrs. old kids that have all day to kill and some of us have stuff to do besides shiting around. I am wondering if you even know what a hammer curl is that you would take what I said and assume that I am talking about a hammer curl because what I said sounded nothing like that. Don't worry, you are just starting out when you get a few years under you belt you are gonna learn what to do and what not to do. |

What do you mean by a curling bar. You mean a dumbell?
What do you mean by throwing twist into the motion coming up/ How will you for arm splint when it is flat on your leg? Why are you being so bitchy? Is it you age taking its toll? |

Why is training 4-6 hours school days bad?
I train hard. You may but that doesn't affect me. I'm a better fighter than you........lol... Why would training all day be bad? I'm also a busy person. Making movies. Working at a gym. And my one obsetion, training. |

When you throw a twist into a bicep curl you start at the bottom with your wrist extended and as you come up you twist the wrist inward inward in a horizontal motion.....hand flat holding bar moving up and down at the wrist. You get arm splints from not properly supporting your arms when doing forearm twist over your leg. I suppose you could compensate by putting your elbow on your thigh and your wrist past your knee to where you arm was completely supported but then you put pressure on your elbow and shoulder. I am not being bitchy, I just don't like it when someone comes in and tries to say that at 15yrs. old they have more experience than me in lifting. You might think you know it all but you will find out one day that no one knows everything. My age is not taking it's toll on anything cuz my eyes still see good enough to see bullshit when it's right in front of my face and my nose works good enough to smell it when you start bringing it in the forum. How much do you weigh? What are your dimensions on chest, arms, etc.? |

I could give you about a million reasons Paul. One really good one is that muscles take time to repair and if you don't let them rest they will never grow.........Another one would be that when you overwork your muscles you never get your full potential out of them........Another would be that working muscles that hard with cause major injuries like tears, strains, and pulls. I seriously doubt you are better fighter than me kid, but keep dreaming. I seriously doubt at 15yrs. old you have trained in everything you have said you have as well. What movies have you been in? let me guess you are an underage gay porn star? That is all I could figure with your obvious obsession with yourself. |

Hey falcon we are agreeing with each other. United against a common enemy. Paul you are arrogant, over confident and don't know anywhere near as much as you think. Falcon is right, he has been lifting longer than you and has learnt more, listen to him.

Yea, who would have thought that Lizard? lol
You still never answered me Paul……..I was asking what you measurements are….how big are you arms, chest, etc……. Don’t get me wrong Paul I am always helpful to anyone that wants advice about lifting or bulking up. Just never forget that I spent 3 years running a cattle farm and I know what bullshit smells like

I know what falcon is talking about, the twisting motion. I havn't been lifting much, but i don't have time to, but in my little experience and my sensei's experience what falcon says is true. It's easier. And you do have to let your muscle's rest. I only work out 3 times a week if I'm lucky and I see more results then my friends who work out 5-6 times a week and take all those suppl. and stuff. Just my two cents.
