"Any true MA practitioner will not talk crap and will not get into a fight if he can avoid it, but most of all he will NOT go to a tournament."
I'm sorry but talking about "True practitioners" and making up excuses as to why practitioners of certain arts don't want to fight in tournaments sends off several of my BS alarms. How do you define a "True" practitioner?

A true martial artist would not go to a tournament???? I don't go to boost my ego, I go to test my style against other styles and to learn, that is what it's for. I could see the WC tournament now.....a bunch of guys standing around poking each other wondering why there chi is not working........lol.......whatever man. |

I have sparred the guys in my class, but on BJJ rules. When I was street fighting the BJJ guy I didn't use Dim Mak because you tend to forget most of the points as soon as the adrenaline hits you when your not properly trained lol, but I have used it and it worked.

Here's an idea, Kleyman97... Visit Yellow Bamboo Island and use your Chi/Dim Mak/martial arts hocus pocus there... Yeah, it really works on Yellow Bamboo Island.

Actually its more like I've gotten into more than one street fight lol, and I didn't use Dim Mak on that occasion because we started out pretty close, Dim Mak itself is not an art, but rather gives you a map of points to strike, it takes thinking, I used it on my brother who was knocking the shit out of me from about a foot or two away (the sucker pissed blood the next day). Don't think that Pride and UFC is the best collection of fighters around. I spent 3 months in Northern China training with the monks in Northern Shaolin, those guys could literally NOT FEEL PAIN. Do you understand? These guys did Iron Shirt Qigong and they could get beaten with bamboo all day and not get hurt, so don't be ignorant about the subject. Muay Thai and BJJ are a great combo for the ring and your UFC, but they will not stand a chance against practitioners who have trained all their life and do what others do not. Bruce Lee himself said that styles are cages, there is no best one. So by saying that "BJJ can beat anyone" you are going against all ideals of a fluid martial artist. Every "style" has a weakness against certain points, for example, do you know Kino Mutai? Its the Filipino art of biting and eye gouges. Have fun trying to grapple one of these guys IDIOT. They'll bite you and make sure you cant get them off for half an hour. For gods sake, don't be ignorant. I'm 14 and I seem to know much more about the MA than you.
Best wishes

You are 14 and you expect me to believe that you have been to china and trained with monks in a shaolin temple…..lol.
Let me tell you something kid I have been training in MA for more years than you have been alive…..I am been training for 20yrs. Kid and you are going to tell me some stuff……..you are even more stupid than I thought. I never said that BJJ was the best art. I train in BJJ and MT now. I have black belts in Aikido and Shorin-ryu karate. I have also been in the military and have been through all there hand to hand combat courses. As a matter of fact that course is a culmination of the best of every MA around and I don’t remember dick about dim mak or kung fu. |

Kleyman97,
Let me guess... You accidentally wandered into the Shaolin Temple grounds when you were Five. A Shaolin Master took you in and trained you in the arts of Chi and Dim Mak... Whereby, the age of 14, you have come back to enlighten the rest of us... Well, why didn't you say so? Now, it all makes sense.

Idiot, I've trained in the Shaolin temple summber of eigth grade, don't give me shit about me not being eligible when it comes to being more knowledgable. I don't give a damn about ANY of your previous training, a finger to the eye or a fist to the throat will take out anyone, but of course, seemingly you take MA for the purpose of competing, well in that case, compete away, but remember those rules do not apply in a real fight.

Wow, quite a temper our little shaolin monk has.
What the hell is sumber? You ever hear of the NHB cause me and my buddies like to fight in it.......you know no holds barred. I have been in more streetfights in a week then you have been in your whole life kid so just give it up. You could try to punch me in the throat but that is all you are gonna do right before I snap your arm off and beat you down with it. |

This is too ridiculous... A 14 year old giving lecture – I may develop an ulcer after today. Between Paul Wilson and Kleyman97, I don't know who has more smoke up their ass? Either way, I'm signing out of these types of posts...

Aww is the great big army man trying to pick a fight with the 14 year old? lol, listen, I'm not looking to make any enemies, can we just agree that we have different views and try to respect each other's opinions? I'm definetly gonna stop subscribing to this post now, so dont bother saying anything back to me. Some people like practicality, and some people devote their life to learning the secret behind the mysticism. I'm satisfied with where I am so far, and I have no doubt about my abilities. But whatever you do do not diss any MA, even Dim Mak, until you find its best practitioner, the utmost example of what it teaches, and fight him. If you beat him you will have every right to say whatever you want about the MA, but if you do not, shut the hell up and keep training, because BJJ and MT will not get you everywhere you need to go, nor will anything else. Ever heard of 5 element Kung fu? Look for the document on Kazaa, you'll find it quite interesting, it was a theory of mine a few years ago, had quite a response, anyway, good luck in your training, all of you.
Adios,
