    Default Who would win?

Ok, my coworkers have been having a heated discussion upon who would survive in the UFC octagon. And the guys are:

    Steven Segal
    Chuck Norris
    Billy Blanks
    Jet Li
    Bolo Yeung
    Kurt Angle

Which one of these guys in their prime would surivive and why?

Kurt Angle definitely has the edge now, but Chuck Norris in his prime would have been decent.

You see, Kurt probably has 100 pounds and a ton of strength on most of these guys. But I think Chuck in his prime could kick his knees and groin enough to wear him down. If Chuck ever got tangled up with Kurt though, he would be in trouble.

Bolo Yeung in his prime had strength and size, but his preferred art is Tai Chi. Tai Chi is great for mental health and all, but c'mon. He is just a body builder that can do katas.

My personal vote.... Oleg Taktarov. He isn't much of a star, but he is a Russian Sambo guy, who did some UFC stuff, and now is trying to get into Hollywood.

Oh yeah, I also vote for IVAN DRAGO! (that's just because I look like him and all my friends tell me I look like "the Russian guy from Rocky.")

    Jet Li.
    Easily.
Kurt Angle is an Olympic champion. And a WWE wrestler.
BUt there is no way on Earth that he could win in a fight against Jet Li.

LOL... Another "versus" thread... All right, I'll play along.

Kurt Angle seems to be the obvious choice, but I'll go with Chuck Norris. I think Chuck is an all-around better fighter than Angle, even in his old age. As I recall, Chuck's been training BJJ for some time now and is quite proficient. Kurt Angle, on the other hand, while quite adept at wrestling, has limited knowledge of REAL submission holds. Wrestling is unlike BJJ, in more ways than I care to mention.

Kurt's main advantage would be his size and strength, however his wrestling arsenal is less threatening. Furthermore, Kurt's discipline is rooted in pinning opponents, not bashing their brains in.

I see Billy Blanks losing the entire thing... He's the least credible of the bunch.
    The sage experiences without abstraction,
    And accomplishes without action;
He accepts the ebb and flow of things,
Nurtures them, but does not own them,
And lives, but does not dwell.

have to go with Chuck Norris...
