I remember talking to a Chinese friend of mine a few years ago who knew a few Wing Chun guys. He did say there was a lot of rivalry between the traditional WC guys and another style. I can't remember if he said it was the Bak Mei (White Eyebrow system) or the Praying Mantis people though. I think there was a lot of rivalry between different schools in Hong Kong and China anyway.
