You know, you could spend about 16 seconds on the Muay Thai board here on defend.net and I'm sure any literate person should be able to figure out wha they do...

The kicks are very different to TKD they are done in one continuous move if you like where TKD is more like 2 movement. The leg swings round, it comes out more. Having said that there are many different kicks. Many people think there are only a couple of kicks. To give you an idea there is: Round kick Sharp shin kick Push kick tiip round tiip side kick (yes there is a side kick and its a proper one but not done like karate) and others. There are lots of blocks, lots. The hand movement is the same as boxing plus more. You can hold the head and hit it with your fist or elbows etc.(not in the ring though) Basically thai boxing consists of the following: Boxing Kicking Elbows Knees Vertical grappling(clinch) Good footwork Good soft and hard defence The best thing about thai boxing that is really hard to put into words is the way it moves between ranges and controls the opponent. It flows smoothly and yet is explosive. In my experience it is the most powerful MA standing up. It is also the fastest. That will annoy some but it is. Speed is how fast you can throw a combination. No other art can throw a striking combination as fast and stick with a real live oppponent. This is due to its footwork mainly which i is amazing. Hope this helps Any one who disagrees P!ss OFF

Excuse me but a puch kick and a tiip are different
Push kick is a push Tiip is a stab and causes pain, push kick just moves your opponent and they are two different kicks. Tiip and Teep are the same and neither is the correct spelling. Shows how much u know.
