Todi, I've heard of the Free Fight in Amsterdam.

I used to see flyers for events like that on the Beurs van Berlage. You've got some serious balls getting into the cage with some of those crazy Dutch fighters.

I think alot of door men fight in them, so they get planty of fight prep in and out of the ring.

All bouncers have to succesfully do a coarse before they are allowed now so the fighting here is far less
hehe some of them have been on TV so no-ne in his right mind would be so stupid to start a fight

as for the freefight events no cage there, there has been one attempt to organise it but every citycouncil has stopped it eversince

Right now I'm not that impressed with dutch freefight/MMA, ....well lets say it ain't no Pride, I know pride are the top fighters but hey the is the Netherlands man we have some of the baddest mofos in MT/kickboxing
A guy like Gilbert Yvel should do much better in MMA than he does and that's a trainers problem, we do not have the right trainers here, we are getting there but a long way to go
Damn you for hogging Bas Rutten

I see that you do BJJ and Shotokan. The BJJ is definately a good thing but you should forget the shotokan and go take some MT.

Haha - I'm not going to ditch Shotokan as it's my first love. I'd love to do MT as well, but there's none where I live, and I'm so busy doing karate and BJJ every day that I can't travel to another city to do MT.

I feel quite confident that the universe will present MT to me when I'm ready to start.
