SBG Productions changes

Hello everyone,

I started SBG Productions almost five Years ago. In that time we have managed to put out quality products that I am proud to stand behind. In addition we established a reputation for helping all our customers get their orders processed and received as quickly as possible. As the company has grown, and the loyal customer base grown along with it, I came to the conclusion that it was time to move the distribution end of our products out of the hands of a large, impersonal corporation, and into our own family hands. In that way I know we will be able to give each and every customer the personalized service they deserve, and avoid any future delays in shipping product. Also, we will be able to better answer all questions regarding the content and quality of our products. Rather then just having a 24 hour operator who knows nothing of the content ask for your credit card and shipping information.

So with that in mind I have turned over distribution of our products to my trusted friend, and SBGI Regional Director Luis Gutierrez. I know this will be an incredibly positive change for all our customers.

First of all, thanks to all of you who have supported our continued efforts to share our journey and discoveries and have kept our organization very alive and dynamic for the past 8 years or so. Like a good book writing itself, looking back, every single page has developed its message and story beautifully thanks to all of you who have enjoyed and given so much to the read. Looking ahead, it is you that give this book its meaning and wealth and assures for even greater reading. Thanks again!

As predicted, 2003 was definitely a big year for the SBG with its exponential growth and innovative developments transforming it into the SBGi. Needless to say, with a wide array of projects and cutting edge material lined up by its coaches, its competition teams worldwide actively participating in and winning in events from grappling on through MMA formats, and its own president increasing seminar dates and destinations to further spread its message and discover other SBGis, 2004 looks even brighter!

In order to accommodate all the new projects currently underway with the SBGi and in an effort to further improve the production level and quality of distribution for everything from DVDs to print, we are now in the process of transferring all such responsibilities in house and within our direct relationship with our clientele. With our own in house production and distribution house, we will assure better customer service as it will be SBG coaches and gym owners that will be directly response-able and available for our customers to contact concerning their products.

It is in this regard that we ask all of you have recently ordered SBGi tapes and sets to please be patient at this point of our transition and allow for an additional two week time frame before your orders ship out. The ever increasing number of orders coupled with the legalities and logistics of transferring rights, funds, and responsibilities between our prior business relations to our own organization are quite frankly not in our control and more a product of the legal and postal systems. We understand your position and concerns and are delighted by your eagerness to receive and train our products! Rest assured that once this waiting period on back orders is behind us, all aspects of our on line store and phone order service will have improved ten fold.

With our new distribution center now in place, we are working diligently on processing and shipping all back orders as we speak and assuring future orders will be processed and shipped out within three business days. Although we will make every effort to ship your order within three business days, for legal purposes we must also add that depending on shipping and any customs regulations within the country of destination, please allow us 2 to 4 weeks in extreme circumstances, or cases of back order. We will make every effort to assure that does not happen, but we also feel that it is important to be completely clear in communicating with our customers.

In return what you will all have to look forwards to as of January first is our entire existing catalogue of training material dropped directly into DVD format and all new projects from the Fall Camp forwards on DVD only.

Depending on VHS product demands, certain existing sets (current catalogue) will be available only on DVD as of January so if there are any sets you specifically require in VHS, now would be a good time to order them.

As for the much anticipated SBGi Book? Well, you will not be disappointed but for that very same reason, Matt and I are taking our sweet time with it as it entails everything from the conceptual makings of the SBG to it many manifestations through the SBGi from its history and travels, to game and attribute development, to its ever developing philosophies.
