If all the people who are in the military are somehow more pain loving then all Finnish men love pain!!!
I don't think so! Of course it might be that bacause it is compulsory in finland for all the men to go to the army. That is if people who go to the army love pain. On the other hand if the army teaches people to love pain then we all are pain-loving weirdos (not me, yet. I'm still underaged. "I come to the age" next spring.) |

War is a shite game. The most you need is control of your weapons and how to use them. Second is mental strenght. A simple example. In a street fight you have (normally) one opponent and if you are strong and have a good technique you will manage him. In war you will be shot with a machine gun from one of the darkend windows in the street that you haven't recognized before and your body will only be a shit load of blood. In this situation you would better play defense and wait for reinforcement. The guys with the big mouth and the big bizeps are the first who die. And the general speaks in the microphones: Our losses are minimal.

We get people like that every now and then, military or otherwise.
We get two or three blackbelts to talk to them after class and suggest they ease up. We then explain how most of us have jobs, school and/or families, which are much more important to us than living out some macho fantasy which might involve hurting each other so bad that we can't function the next day. We then explain that if he tries that kinda sh*t again, he's very likely to get very injured as well as invited to not come back.
