too expensive not enough time, for bjj im paying 130 a month 2x a week, 60 initiation fee, and 110 for a uniform.

yea its 1 of 2 schools anywhere near me and its main teacher is supposed to be rodrigo gracie, although i havent seen him yet, i think he's preparing for competition or something.

If you can train under R Gracie, then do it! This advice from a guy who likes Muay Thai better than BJJ.

Sorry to have to say this bud but you are getting burned.That's alot of money.

I pay less then you ($106.99) and get school t-shirt for free and get to train 6x a week in both grappling and muay thai and there is no initiation fee.

I can understand for uniform because that is regular price from what I remember from when I had to wear one in karate.In muay thai you don't wear uniforms,we just wear school t-shirt(ours comes with membership).

You are paying too much money every month bud,your instructor is obviously just money hungry.

Since you only learn one art and get to train only twice a week you should only be paying $75 Canadian per month or the equality of whatever your money is worth in your country.This means you could be saving an extra $55 each month but unfortunately for your sake you are not.

hmm, I pay 35 USD ($) pr month... i get to train grappling and standup 4-5 times pr week.. (thai and bjj) quite nice.

for 160 a month i get to go as much as i want and i dont really have much choice because its the only bjj place anywhere near me and one of like 2 good martial arts schools around here in general.
