Is that possible? A buy i know loves to triagle and armbar me. I can get out of the armbar but i am sorta stuck of what to do after i get out. What happens is that i have a hold of his leg... so i am thinking about going for a neebar or a leg lock.... any thoughts or advice?

If you are on your back and almost armbarred you can bridge up, rotate your shoulder away from him and pivot your whole body so you end up in his guard. That's a technical move. You have to do it before the armbar is sunk.
If you are in his guard and almost armbarred you can sqoosh him down with your weight, especially his hips. I suppose you could then go for a kneebar if you were free of the armbar but I can't see how you would get position for it without him seeing it coming. I'd just pass guard instead. There are also two ways I've learned to escape the triangle but niether of them lead to a submission. |
