There's only one way to really know, but that means you would have to kill someone.I think it does because what Dim Mak means is death touch. There are many techniques that can kill.
My sifu was taught Dim Mak by Grandmaster Wong Cheung. He has yet to teach it to any of his students. He says he's not sure if he ever will.He says it's too easy to kill someone by mistake. jeff

The Dim Mak should be disregarded simply because it is not testable. You can neither prove it true or false since many so-called "masters" refuse to show how it works.

I've seen preassure point fighting where they knocked people out with that stuff, so I think that it works on that level anyway. And as someone already wrote: the only way to find out is to try it to someone.

Sure it works. The aliens that brought me into the spaceship showed me it was true right before we time traveled to Atlantis. My next class with the Easter Bunny will cover it.

Pressure points do work. Sometimes. They are, however, the finest of the fine motor skills and take great skill, timing, and luck to pull off.
I have the opportunity to train with someone well versed and well respected in the community. I want to experience it first hand in a controlled environment. First we'll see how they work in a static environment, then we will see how they work dynamically when someone is trying to take your head off.

As others have said, the only way to find out if it works is to try it on someone. Or... you can try it on yourself!
