I am thinking about changing my routine and taking few months of only muay thai and then few months of only BJJ and then few months of only boxing....and then keep repeating cycle. This way I am focused on one art at any given time. What are the ups or downs of doing this? Also, what would be ideal amount of time to spend in each art. I was thinking six months. The only down side I can see is that you may forget the stuff after 12 months.

what i do is muay thai at home and i take bjj at the dojo. muay thai's techs are not that hard to learn to me you just have to do it in repetition alot. bjj is alot of technique so i suggest taking courses at all time for that. just study muay thai with a friend or something.
