If you do some excersizes to strengthen your hip & groin tendons you will get very good balance and kicking power within a month.
But unfortunatley i could not posibly discribe to you the excersizes. They are quite complex. If you can find a good ba gua teacher they should show you some of this. You could just go to learn these excersizes. cheers chris |

stand on a pole with one leg raised. practise slowly extending your legs into teh form of a kick.
also find an old Japanese man call Mr Myagi and ask him how to polish

like chris said just lift weight, jog and exercise in general and balance will come naturally to you. you don't have to stand on a pole with one foot to develop balance.
