BTW, I heard stories from other friends about my school's self defence for girls, and I believe them. They say this to them:

With all due respect, in order to grab a hold of someone's genitals, you need to be up close and personal. This presents a problem if the guy is swinging. You also need to bend and reach down, which exposes your back to hails of elbows or hammer punches, not to mention knees to your face.

Then there's the problem of jeans, briefs or even an overcoat. Grabbing somone through their jeans is easier said than done. Your best bet is to simply attack the groin area without worrying about getting a hold of something.

Wasn't it Gary Goodridge that used the nut hold in pride or something? That shit was funny! I've got the kimura in two mma fights and a couple of bjj matches it just seems to always present itself. Besides strikes it's the only way I've ended fights.
