Default Bushido Results! *Spoiler!* (Remember, it comes out on PPV in Dec)

More, from fightback.dk:

Renzo vs Newton - In an amazing show of grappling-abilities, Carlos Newton and Renzo Gracie went to war. They both went from transition to transition, always going for submissions. Renzo seemed to tire down the stretch and Newton sensed that the victory was in grasp. He kept up the tempo and even though Renzo rode out the storm, he acknowledged Newton as the winner (2-1, a split decision).

Newton weighed in 5 kilos heavier for this fight, at 88 kilos!

Ralph vs Mishima - In an absolute barn-burner, Ralph Gracie won a decision over Dokonjonosuke Mishima. Gracie got close to a submission-win, but the bell saved Mishima from further damage. Ralph“s boxing was impressive and he staggered Mishima again and again, but Mishima came roaring back. Gracie got the 3-0 decision, due to his aggressivenes and damage done to Mishima. But it was a close fight.

In spite of Gracie`s long break from MMA, he looked sharp, after a tentative opening. Mishima is actually the first to go the distance with Ralph Gracie.

Daniel vs Nakamura - In a rather dull affair, the Japanese pulled out the decision win. The Yoshida-student got the win, seemingly, due to Gracie getting a yellow card for stalling. It seemed like both had more to give, but somehow they failed to let it out.

Rogrigo vs Takase - Rodrigo Gracie showed impressive GnP-skills as he dominated Daiju Takase on the ground. The Brazilian also rocked the Japanese standing, but couldn`t secure a stoppage victory. They both got yellow cards (which have been given out like candy tonight) for stalling.

Takase got more and more desperate, but simply couldn`t inflict any real damage on the superior fighter.

Ryan vs Hamanaka - After completely dominating Kazuhiro Hamanaka, Ryan Gracie KOed the Japanese with two soccer-kicks. The ending came after the referee had restarted them. Hamanake shot in and somehow injured his knee on the way in, and then fell to his back. Gracie capitalized and kicked the Takada Dojo-member while he was lying on his back.

Gracie had dominated Hamanaka before the ending and actually had his back for 4 minutes.

I really wanted Renzo to win and I really don't like Carlos. But, you never seem to get what you want -- do you?
