For all of you uncultured degenerates who dismiss baseball: you can't possibly comprehend the intricacies of the game.
I was THE Mets fan before the strike, but the fact that grown men who make millions upon millions of dollars have the audacity to whine about not being paid enough is just pathetic. Still, I reman a fan of the game, as I've played it all my life--there's nothing in sports that is harder than hitting a baseball when someone is trying to make you miss (I rank shooting a good, accurate slapshot up there with hitting a ball)--and I still support my team (despite the fact that they suck and I live in Yankee central).
