Was Frank Dux fact or fiction????

did he really win all thjose fights in the kumnte, mN IT IS A BIT HARD TO BELIVE WHAT DO U GUYS THINK??

Besides that... It's pretty well established that Dux was more fiction than fact.

Well from what I read in the book "No holds Barred" - by Clyde Gentry suggests that Frank Dux is a fake. A court case that took place in the early 1990s exposes Dux to suffer from a vivid imagination, and ironically enough the reason why he was in court was to sue Zane Fraiser ( a kempo stylist) for beating the crap out of him after a deal went sour. According to the book "Fraiser claimed to have found school records to prove that Dux could not could not be in the US, in the military, and learning to be a ninja while fighting in over 365 matches all at once". After which Dux faked a seizure to get out of court! But the best is still to come!!
Apparently Dux replies later in court that "...I talked to my master's second in command and if I reveal any information, my family will be killed, I will be kiled and everyone in this room will be killed if I reveal anything about bloodsport, the kumite and my secret training as a ninja".

I think Dux also later authorised a book entitled "the secret man"about his allged career asin the CIA whil e"soldier of fortune" magazine penned an article using overwhelming evidence to prove he lived in a fantasy world.

I dunno what u guys think, but i am just tellin about what I have read...

He also claimed to be a congressional medal of honor winner. But later when he learned that claiming that falsely is a felony he withdrew the claim.

he was in VA beach in december but i missed him. I think if you pay him a grand he will come to your school.

He teaches something he calls Dux Ryu

Im sorry if my spelling offeneded you Cobra I didnt think it mattered as long as you could understand what it meant.

Any way Zane Frasier did beat Frank Dux.

I think I remember reading an article about him on About.com's martial arts section and They noted that a lot of his statements seemed a bit far fetched. When asked about his story from "Bloodsport" I think he claimed that the tournament was on some rich guys private island. I liked the movie, but I think that this whole thing was a work of fiction.

Dux Ryu isn't much better then Dux O'hazzard. Daisy of course being the only redeaming character.

I heard about that private island thing too. i also heard that he pucnhed thru bulletproof glass, or somethin like that...i dunno...seems kinda fake to me

He's the real deal. i believe that Jean Claude Van Damme wouldn't do a movie that wasn't based on fact,

. I think he also really fought Bolo for the final match. Also, Jean Claude is the real deal too!!!
