Favorite technique from kneeling

Hi guys,

Most ground grappling starts with two individuals facing each other on the ground, usually on their knees.

What's your favorite technique starting from this position?
Please describe it in detail.

I was gonna say duchman, my favorite move would be to stand up and knee the guy in the face. But in all seriousness, I'd say guillotine/front headlock which flows into all sorts of takedowns, chokes and neck cranks.

If you're talking about starting a sparring match from the knees, then I'd say a simple double leg. I was able to get it around 90% of the time when I sparred, even from the knees. It takes you straight into yokoshiho if you do it right.

We start our grappling sparring (randori) on our knees, but also from the greco-clinching.

From this starting position, do a neck snap-down, step behind and get the back.

If the movements are done explosively, they'll work most of the times.

Bird I hate to break this to you,
