Why do certain races dominate specific sports

I know this could end up turning racial, but....

Why do chinese dominate diving, and table tennis?

Why do blacks dominate basketball and football, and sprinting?

Why do whites dominate swimming, hockey, skiing, and gymnastics?

Why do atheletes from the dominican republic dominate baseball?

Why do Cubans and mexicans dominate boxing?

Why do africans dominate long distant running?

Why do whites dominate triathalons and cycling?

Why are most good boxing heavyweights black?

Why are most good lightweights mexican?

Why are italians good at soccer?

This may not be a completely fair asessment, but I think the questions are valid though.

i think it could be just that they are interested in those type of sports more.. it could be cultural thing, like one group might enjoy one particular sport, so they play that a lot more.. i honestly dont think that race has THAT much of an impact of what race plays what and what they are good at.. its what is played socially within the groups and what is considered more of a sport to them, how convenient it is for them to play and practice it, and cultural exposure.
There was a study about race and genetics, and it showed that genetics are almost all identical to each other, basically saying that the differences were mostly superficial changes.. these changes were so the people of a certain area could adapt to whatever the damands of the land were.. in other words, they adapted to the land and area..

Wow, well I cant answear all these questions but I can try others.
1. I think chinese dominate table tennis because it might be more popular in japan. You never hear young American kids saying " I want to grow up to be a table tennis champion!"

2.As for whites dominating Hockey, golf, and skiing well these sports are often played by the people who have money and here in America it's mostly whites.

3.Well in my opinion most heavyweights are black because in general they are bigger people. Look at some Hispanics and Asians, traditionally they are smaller people. Look I know Asians and Hispanics who are over 2oolbs. but they are either overweight or they have build themselves up with free weights to be over 2oolbs. So they definitely do not bring any natural punching power with them.

4.As for Cubans and Mexican dominating boxing, well you can also throw in there other nationalities.

5.As for good lightweights being Mexican well I basically explained it in answear 3. Hispanics and asians I believe are generally smaller people. Look at the straweight division in boxing they are usually dominated by asians and hispanics.

6.As for italians being good in soccer well I was raised overseas and I can tell you that other countries love soccer more than Americans.

I do not want to upset anyone with this answears and I know they are exceptions to everything.

Well, some for reasons of genetic superiority and others for reasons of exposure. Soccer, baseball, tennis, diving, ping pong, and golf are definitely exposure sports. Italians aren't good at soccer because of genetic superiority. If you disagree with me, get back to me the day a non-black person wins the 100 m dash.

I would like to comment on why their are more black american world champs than white world champions. The reason is most white kids have been pampered. They really do not have that hunger in them that black kids have. Boxing is just to hard of sport for most white kids. They would rather play school sports that have seasons and the training isn't as hard. Really,how many white kids are willing to stay home on Friday nights so it doesn't mess up their training? Not to many. The brothers I see at my gym(which is composed of 90%black 9%hispanic and me the token white guy)have a me against the world attitude,the I have been discriminated against my whole life and I am taking it out on everybody I step in the ring with. Very,Very few white kids have that hatred and anger,why should they? Go thru history and see who the best boxers where. It was usually immigrants like italians,irish and the jewish who were discriminated against. Notice that as soon as those groups assimilated into society the great Jewish,Italian and Irish fighters became non existent. Also most boxing gyms are in minority communities,where mommy and daddy do not feel safe driving in after dark. Why box when you can go play soccer with all the other white folks?

What fascinates me more than any of the examples mentioned so far is why do Jewish people tend to be better at succeeding? They are better businessmen, better doctors, better lawyers, and better violin players than other people. Jews have been discriminated against and had so many obstacles thrown their way, yet they still continue to succeed. This mystery fascinates me. I'm not Jewish.
