You may have noticed my quote by Rickson: "I'm afraid of everything". The reason I've picked out this one is to show how strong and misleading a statement can become when it is drawn out of its original context. In the choke video, Rickson talks about how important it is to respect dangers, and that saying "I'm not afraid of anything" is a sign of stupidity and not courage. When stating this, he also says, to put power behind his words, "I am "afraid" of EVERYTHING". Just so you know, guys. Despite this, Sak is still the man...

The point of this thread is A:show how much you can twist the meaning of peoples statements and B: Enlight those of you who thought Rickson never have said such a thing.
And what has Joe Manco have to do with it? I don't know

There’s no shame in fear. Fear is what keeps you alive to a large extent. Everybody fears. What matters is how you react to your fear, whether you let it paralyze you or rule your life or you move forward intelligently and deal with it.
