Klingon hand-to-hand combat

I just found a web page that focuses on Klingon "martial arts". WTF!! The page is in German so i don't understand the text but there is pictures. So this raised a question in my mind...

Do yo think that the Klingon style is a good style for self defense?

Klingons get thier butt whopped every time they appear on Star Trek, by everybody. Even Dr. McCoy has beaten klingons up. I'll bet Capt. Janeway has too. Hell, I'll bet Capt. Pike ran them down with his wheel chair.

I wouldn't trust a martial art made up by nerds with too much time on their hands spent watching actors and stunt men play around with made up weapons.

I used to have the "how to speak klingon" cd pack. Hey I'm a nerd. I'm a civil engineering major, I like math, I like star wars, I play magic the gathering (yugioh can suck my eskrima stick), and I want a light saber. Klingons are a bunch of losers though. They never win. Its all about the borg.
