Default hmmm just out of curiosity

if u think of all the big name actors who say they are martial artists as well, which ones do u think are really legit
we have
jackie chan- who did some wu whu and mostly shoalin kung fu with the peking opera
van-damm- karate(don't really know if he actually did kickboxing)
steven segaul-akido
chuck norris-karate and tang soo do(i know he his but what do u think of him)
robin shou-shoaling kung fu and wu shu
jet li-kung fu (don't remember which kind though and wu shu)

well here ya go...u have all these big name actors that say they are martial artists....which ones do i guys think are really serious about training?...if u could, would u actually take lessons from one of them and why?
sorry i had to see what u guys would say....i think it's an interesting topic,no?

It is intersting, this was also discussed before see the link:

Can actor's fight???

Regarding teaching -I think only 2 are serious about teaching Chuck Norris and Stevel Segal and segal is a fat bastard now so I would probably go with Chuck since he is big with machado BJJ as well.

The only person on that list I'd take lessons from would be Chuck Norris. He was a full contact Karate & Kickboxing champ.

Chuck Norris without a doubt!
P.S. You forgot to mention Weslie Snipes. He's a very dedicated student of the Martial Arts-at least that's what I've read.

wesley snipes is very good at capoeira and I think it is shotokan karate. He has a master level in capoeira I think. The only person I would train with here is Chuck because he is the most legit here. He won titles, rained with bruce lee and a few other guys and continues to amaze me with walker texas ranger reruns.

I was even going to admit to still watching that, but that's my down time to eat and prep for the gym.
