That's probably a good thing...lol.

I can get officially certified in fluency in two foreign languages by a University testing center. I can speak two others fairly well. I went into the office and was met with skepticism by the office administrator (whom didn't speak any of the languages in question). I suppose I don't carry the image of a linguist, whatever that means. So the testing person comes into the front office and we switch off into this other language and the office admin lady gives me a dirty look.

That's the kind of BS that kids like me have to deal with.

Oh I dont know... you seem fairly intelligent, articulate, no major character flaws such as drug addictions, anti-social behavior, criminal record....

...not that there's anything wrong with that...

The only drugs that I feel comfrotable around are alcohol, caffeine, aspirine (not in that order...lol). I have to read and re-read fitness supplements, because there's a label that says "THESE STATEMENTS HAVE NOT BEEN VERIFIED BY THE FOOD & DRUG ADMINISTRATION." The FDA has an 8 year drug approval process (5 year for drugs that show life saving potential).

Interesting things can happen in your body; I won't go into the biochemistry but some things were not meant to be taken in conjunction with each other.

As far as anti-social behaviour, other than an occassional failed humor attempt, no anti-social behvaiours.

"image of a linguist"? wtf is that? I did a brief stint as an ER translator and I usually looked like an indigent. Nobody cared for anything other than the accuracy of the translation.

What languages are you dealing with?
