ok, I'm just curious. Who and Why was the thread "why women why" closed?
As far as I can tell there was nothing objectionable posted.

Its the Thought Police.

A good moderator posts a li'l old warning first and then, if she closes a thread, she puts why. A better one wouldn't be closed minded neither.

She doesn't just close it because it pricks at her own sexist attitudes.

If you disagree with closing of the thread you may take it up with Tim he can override any of the moderators.

As I have said, it was not appropriate for the Women's counter offensive forum. As it did not contain any relevent information for that topic.

Nothing personal guys, but lets not chase off the few women we do have coming on the board by demeaning them.

If you want warning then here you go.

Stay on topic in the respective forums, do not demean anyone based on race, religion, or gender. Remember that this is a family forum so make sure posts are appropriate.

I'm not a woman so i wouldn't know, just trying to keep the forums on topic and for general consumption, and as I said, if someone want to ask Tim to reopen it then feel free to talk to him about it.

It's his forum and if he feels it was an appropriate thread he'll reopen it.

(I saw where that thread could have been positive and on topic- however it degenerated into 16 year olds demeaning women and submission foreplay banter, - start a new one and keep it on topic and you'd be okay)

I understand the job the moderators have to do to keep this place friendly for everybody. Kudos for that!

I didn't see anything demeaning unless I missed something when I wasn't around, I think some guys were just being funny by sounding like typical guys. I had a good laugh so for my part, no offense taken.

I promise I will not hypnotise Thai and make him say TKD is great...
