Default I love you all

Theres so many great people on these forums, so much exchange of ideas...

Sometimes I wonder if doing martial arts (or perhaps just sports in general) does improve people's character...

Oh and I love Tom yum most of all

Also Jesus was a great guy (and he was probably bipolar) ... assuming that he even existed.

Nope. Been doin' em for years and I lack social skills....I can't even walk and chew gum much less get the gum-ption to do anything productive.

I'm just an all round terrible person......

1. Yes he was. Read the New Testament.
2. Not possible. Out of curiosity how old is the field of psychology?
3. He did.

You seem to have a very closed mind on the Jesus-Bipolar idea... I mean from a christian point of view, someone could beleive that god created Jesus WITH the disorder in order to give him the required charisma and ambition...

I dont know how old psychology is... I should probably research it sometime.

I reek of closed mind....lol.

Explain the correlation between bi-polar disorder with charisma/ambition?

Was Bill Clinton, a very charismatic and ambitious man, affected with bi-polar disorder?

I'm just trying to see where you are coming from.

Per your corrected post, you claim that bipolar disorder is required to have character and ambition? And that a Christian point of view indicated that Jesus was given a bipolar disorder by God....lol?

If there's scripture that says this, please demonstrate.

I do feel there is a correlation, Im not sure WHY there is (its not even known what causes bipolar)...

Bill Clinton has been described as a perfect example of someone who may be a "unipole hypomanic" (hypomania being a mild form of mania), so Im actualy very glad you brought him up as an example

And as for bipolar being a REQUIREMENT for these qualities, of course not. Things are often alot more complex than that. Im trying to think of a good analogy here... ok, america is considered a rich country, ethiopia is considered a poor country. However, in america there are still many poor people, and in ethiopia there are (I assume) a few rich people.

Oh when I said required I meant that

These attributes (ambition, charisma) were REQUIRED for him to help people and change the world.

I wasnt implying the the disorder is required for these attributes.

We're just a nation of manias. I'd hate to see a 'quadripole hypomaniac'......drum roll please for the physicists in tha house .

Which would you prefer:

1. Obsessive Compulsive Disorder or Excessive Anal retentiveness

2. Bipolar Disorder or Seasonal Effective Disorder

3. Envy or Jealousie

4. The Cubs or Da Bears

What would make you hate to see a 'quadripole hypomaniac'?Your polite style is very nice.
I lost my train of thought.

Thanks Saki.

That was a joke using the concept of polarity between the disciplines of psychology (the semi-science ) and physics, the fundamental science.

In all sincerity, psychology is a fascinating discipline.

It is true that physics is the one true science... Chemists think theyre logical, those fools need to start using S.I. units... and as for naming the side chains in alphabetical order rather than numerical... I mean... Whats the friggin point.
